What does a trip look like?
If you’ve done a mission trip in the past, your experience on an MCF mission team might be a little bit different. We don’t have a construction project generally, as we don’t want to take away from Kenyan locals who depend on MCF construction projects for their livelihood. So, instead of building structures, we’re building relationships.
You won’t just leave being changed. We believe that the lives of MCF beneficiaries will be changed, too, because you loved them well in the name of Jesus.
Several times a year, teams from around the world make their way to Kenya. Many say their experiences changed their lives forever.
At MCF, you’ll see God bringing hope to the hopeless firsthand…and it’s our prayer that you will discover that you—yes, you!—have a beautiful and important role in bringing hope to dark places.
Mission trips with Mully Children’s Family are intentional. When you come on a trip, you bring something to MCF no one else can. Because of this, we’ll make sure you get opportunities to serve in your God-given giftings.
Information about our Trips
Team Size
Trips are open to groups of 6–20 travelers. The smaller size is intentional — it keeps the experience personal, meaningful, and deeply relational.
Locations We Will Visit
We typically spend most of our time in Ndalani, Kenya, home to the main MCF location. However, we also visit other MCF sites across Kenya, including Eldoret, Malindi, Yatta, Vipingo, Kipsongo, and Lodwar. The trip often concludes with a safari, providing an opportunity for the group to debrief and reflect together.
How can I join?
Once you fill out the sign-up form below, someone from our MCF US team will contact you as soon as possible. We will cover everything you need to know — trip details, what to expect, upcoming dates, and how to secure your spot.
Who May Come on a Trip?
Churches, organizations, families, and individuals frequently attend trips. Churches and organizations frequently have groups that go on trips together. However, you do not have to be a part of a group from a church or organization to join us. Whether you are an individual or a family interested in coming on a trip, there is a place for you!
Regardless of whether you are a church, organization, family, or individual, no prior contact or involvement with MCF is required or expected.
Trip Length
Most trips run 10–14 days, giving you enough time to settle in, build real connections, and truly experience life at MCF.
Preparation
We will have several months of preparation before departing to develop friendships amongst the team, learn about what we will experience in Kenya, and discover how we can best serve together. This time of soul-nourishment prepares our hearts for our time with MCF.
Who Will be on my Team?
If your group has 10 or fewer travelers, you may be paired with other like-minded people from around the world. Team bonding begins well before departure, so by the time you land in Kenya, you'll already feel like family.
